About Loyiso
Loyiso Saliso is a South African social impact consultant, strategic advisor, facilitator and speaker with more than 13 years of experience across gender equality, human rights and community-led development.
She has worked across civil society and development contexts in South Africa and the wider African region, holding significant leadership and programme management responsibilities — including work supporting movement structures, teams and organisations.
Her experience spans strategic advocacy, fundraising and donor engagement, communications and stakeholder engagement, programme coordination and organisational leadership. This combination allows her to move comfortably between boardrooms and communities, between strategy documents and the everyday realities of the people organisations exist to serve.
Loyiso's work is grounded in intersectional feminist, human rights-based and people-centred approaches. She believes that stronger organisations and deeper social impact are built together — through clarity of purpose, honest relationships and leadership that centres care and accountability.
